Not exactly traditional BUT, still perfect for a Yule feast or potluck. 
Oatmeal Craisins Chocolate Chunk Cookies
2/3 c butter softened
2/3 c brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 c oats
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 5 oz pack craisins
2/3 white or semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375°F. Using an electric mixer beat butter and sugar together in med. bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mixing well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt in separate bowl. Add to butter mixture in several additions, mixing well after each. Stir in craisins and chocolate. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 - 12 min. 

Cranberry Almond Bread


2 c flour
1/2 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 c milk
1/2 c butter, melted
2 tsp almond extract
1 5 oz pack craisins
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease an 8.5 x4.5 x 2 in loaf pan. Combine four, sugar, baking powder and salt in a med. mixing bowl. Set aside. Combine egg, milk, butter, almond extract, and craisins in med. bowl. Add to dry ingredients, mixing just until dry ingredients are moist. Spread batter in loaf pan, sprinkle with sugar and almonds. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
